WHITENING PRODUCTS

2009_11100717WARNING!

Two chemicals are commonly used in whitening creams:

-Hydroquinone: Used as a photographic developer, this substance inhibite melanin production. The long-term use of this product causes leukemia. Since 2001, the European Union banned the use of hydroquinone in cosmetics.

-Cortisone: the repeated use of cortisone on the skin destroys the melanin. Misuse causes stretch marks among other. There are also home made mixture with bleach, acid and other substances harmful to the skin. The damage may be irreparable: burns, acne, tasks, body parts turning black, foul odor, wound healing problems (I'll avoid  photo illustration).
And if you do not yet understand the devastation that can cause some lightening, look at my comic "QUICK'STRIP”.
