MY BEST SEASON’S GREETINGS
This overview of actors of black beauty has now come
to an end.
The June Beauty Shop is a good idea that fulfils a
current and growing need.
This event gives the opportunity for women with
coarse/nappy/kinky to meet people who knows how to do their hair and who can
advise them how to take care of their hair. Visitors can also discover natural
products, right at a time when back to natural is more and more fashion. Will
this trend last long ?
Can hair awake historical animosities between black
women?
- That it will not be only a fad, like in the 1970’s,
- An improved dialogue between women with natural hair,
straightened hair, braids or wigs…

COMPLEXION STEP 1: GET YOUR SKIN READY
A few
advice before applying foundation :
Ø Cleanse
your face properly before applying makeup. Dark skins due to their high level
of sebum, are prone to shine. Makeup stick less to unclean skin and asphyxiate
it.
Ø Use
preferably before makeup a matifying base or daily cream for the makeup to last
longer.

HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR HAIR IN WINTER
Winter
is approaching which means a change in
our haircare habits.
The cold makes the hair very dry as the sebum is almost
nonexistent at the scalp.
Hair is more fragile and tend to crack especially relaxed
hair.
The winter months can wreak havoc on our hair, so it is
very important to be proactive. Here are some tips to help you take care of
your hair in winter.
YOUR HAIR IS
NATURAL OR RELAXED
- PROTECT YOUR HAIR FROM COLD
-cover hair with a scarf or hat
-opt for hair styles such as extension, braids, which will
protect your hair during the winter months
- MOISTURIZING HAIR
The cold causes excessive
dryness of hair, we must replenish moisture in your hair.
=>Moisturize and
nourish hair more often:
-Choose a « good moisturizing hair care
products that do not contain mineral oil, paraffin, petrolatum, SLS or SLES, as
all of these cause dryness. » (1)
-Use a gentle shampoo and moisturizer, rich in protein to
strengthen hair
-Apply a nourishing mask once a week, especially on the
ends of the hair because they are more fragile.
Tips:
- Every day, spray with hair spray moisturizer consisting
of mineral water, glycerine, essential oil and vegetable oil.
-« all-night spray to
moisturize the ends of hair (the last two inches) and hold moisture by applying
castor oil, it leaves hair soft, strong and hydrated in the morning »(1)
- STRENGTHEN HAIR
-drink a lot, to moisturize
hair from inside
-The capillary-fiber feeds on sulfur, iron, zinc, protein,
B vitamins, foods containing his food like eggs or lentils.
-If you do not get to eat this food, you can do a three
months cure with dietary supplements
such as brewer's yeast or nutritional supplements rich in plant assets, zinc
and vitamin B.
-The use of bulbs in fall arrest three months cure is also effective.
IF YOU HAVE BRAIDS
- « Synthetic braids come coated with a chemical that causes our
hair to become dry; this will strip the chemical away:it is best if you soak the hair in apple cider vinegar and then rinse in cool water before getting your extensions put in » (1)
-You can reduce the drought by « spraying the hair
with braid spray every day » (1)
IF YOU HAVE A EXTENSION
It must retain moisture
regularly spraying the hair with a moisturizing spray.

KAOLIN FACIAL MASK FROM CAMEROON
Here is a recipe that comes from Cameroon.
KAOLIN FACIAL MASK
for the face or
dry hair
• A tablespoon of kaolin
• Mineral water -half of a bowl
Mix kaolin with water until
dough without lumps.
Apply the mixture evenly over the face avoiding the eye
contour.
Keep the mask all night and wash face with warm water the
next day.
You can also keep the mask just one hour.
KAOLIN
Kaolin is a white clay known for
treating acne prone skin. Kaolin regulates sebum production and brightens the
complexion. Kaolin acts as a cell renewal, which remineralizes the skin.
It has absorbent and astringent qualities and helps to draw out impurities and
toxins Used as a mask,
kaolin is ideal to cleanse skin tarnished revitalize dry skin or brittle and
dry hair. Very gentle to the skin, kaolin is very well tolerated, even
by very sensitive skin or reactive.

WHITENING PRODUCTS
WARNING!
Two chemicals are commonly used in whitening creams:
-Hydroquinone:
Used as a photographic developer, this substance inhibite melanin production. The long-term use of this
product causes leukemia. Since 2001, the European Union banned the use of
hydroquinone in cosmetics.
-Cortisone:
the repeated use of cortisone on the skin destroys the melanin. Misuse causes stretch
marks among other. There are also home made mixture with bleach, acid and other
substances harmful to the skin. The damage may be irreparable: burns, acne,
tasks, body parts turning black, foul odor, wound healing problems (I'll avoid photo illustration).

EVENING DEBATE ON SKIN WHITENING

M.A.C STYLE BLACK PARTY
To celebrate the release of its new collection "Style Black", MAC held a special evening, which took place September 30 in several of its stores.
At the menu champagne, macaron ... 
As its name suggests, black is the center of the collection, all forms of eye shadow, lip, nail.
The eye shadow and gloss textures are very bright except for the lipstick.
The value added of the collection: a skincare in the volcanic rock, a scrub and a mask that would give a baby's skin. 
A new mascara carbon, very black.

Makeup Session
Start by applying the pencil on the lid, otherwise the eye shadow cannot be seen on black skin.
